The chairman of chapters of Accra Hearts of Oak, Herman Hesse has said that the prayer sessions at Newtown at a point in time in the season helped the club to get back to their winning ways.
Speaking to Onua Sports, Herman Hesse revealed that the spirit of the club revived due to the prayer sessions held.
“One of the things that enabled us to get back to winning ways was the Newtown prayers. I believe the spirit of the club came back this year. The spirit was with us and we capitalized on it”, he told Onua sports.
“In the middle of the season, Hearts supporters realised the club needed continuity in the technical direction.
It was the chapters troop to the secretariat to demonstrate and organize a press conference to register our displeasure “, he added.
