Former Accra Hearts of Oak talisman and Legend Don Bortey payed a visit to the players of Hearts ahead of their weekend showndown with Techiman Eleven Wonders.
The club Legend visited the playing body at their training centre and offered them words of advice and directions to follow in regards to the league campaign.
Accra Hearts of Oak have been on a good run of form since the taking over as coach by Kosta Papić who replaced Nii Odoom earlier in the season.
Hearts of Oak have been boosted going into the weekend game as key members of the team have all returned to training.
Midfielder Lawali joined the club’s training earlier in the week after been sidelined with injuries for the past weeks.
Midfield sensation Emmanuel Nettey also stepped up his recovery by joining the club’s training this week but will be closely monitored by the medical team.
Nurudeen also returned to training this week after sustaining injury in last weeks clash with Elmina Sharks.
Striker Obeng Jnr also joined his teammates this week in training but was closedly monitored by a personal trainer as the medical team will need to clear him first.
Hearts go into the weekend clash for victory having drawn last weeks game with Elmina Sharks. Eleven Wonders have proved to be a strong opposition this season with marvellous performances week in week out.
Benard Don Bortey who is known as the serial killer is known for his dribbling skills and famous free-kick goals has been closely in touch with the playing body of Hearts as he looks to inpact some acquired knowledge in the players based on his experience on the local league.
The Hearts Legend featured for the likes of New Edubiase, Aduana Stars, Hearts Of Oak and Great Olympics and as well played for foreign clubs such as Ange IF , Song lam Nhge and Bnei Sakhinn.
Hearts Of Oak face Eleven Wonders on Sunday January 17 in matchday 9 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the famous Accra Sports Stadium.
