Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Minister, Ebenezer Kojo Kum has met with the leadership of the Church of the Lord of Brotherhood to hasten the mediation of their differences which has lasted over 20 years.
The misunderstanding was a result of doctrinal differences between the Primate Right Reverend S. K. Adofo and his Deputy, Arch-Bishop William Mensah Fiadonu.
Since 2002 there has been various attempts to address, their differences through the courts until former Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Samuel Kofi Dzamesi set a mediation committee to settle the difference.

At the end of the meeting the two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding which spelt out among others;
That all the parties will discontinue without liberty all cases pending with courts.
The two groups shall keep independent identity from each other.
The Ministry of Chieftaincy shall take measures to value the assets of the Church of the Lord of Brotherhood and determine the manner and those assets may be exchanged.
The two parties shall conduct themselves in a manner that will not create any conflict, friction or disharmony in a manner that will bring their faith into disrepute.
